This apartment is the perfect location for everyone. It is located less than a few minutes stroll to the beach where there is jet ski hire and other watersports. It also have some wonderful restaurants and bars that serve food all day. Only a few minutes walk is Guadalmina shopping area, where you can try Spanish tapas to traditional english food, and a local supermarket/paper shop for your daily needs. The bus route is also located here, so a car is not necessary. San Pedro is a very comfortable walk from the apartment. An ancient farming community, famous for growing sugar cane, today San Pedro is unspoilt and still traditionally Spanish. The main street of San Pedro is Marques del Duero, which boasts many banks and shops, including a pedestrianized street, where you can find ice cream stalls and small bars. San Pedro is home to various fiestas, but the main one is the fair in October. The streets are lined with fairground stalls and rides. The beach front of San Pedro is a very short walk from the apartment. Here you can find many beach bars and restaurants.
The dazzling marina of Puerto Banus with its luxury yachts, trendy restaurants and bars, is a magnet for visitors to the Costa del Sol and is less than 10 minutes drive from the port are a string of café’s, bars and restaurants and a string of boutiques and gift shops. While restaurants of the quayside are the places to be seen, you’ll sometimes get better value from the small restaurants tucked away up flights of stairs on the back streets. A great place for spotting celebrities. At night the smart restaurants, trendy bars and clubs are filled with people. The street market is in Puerto Banus, near the bullring, starts early in the morning until 2 in the afternoon.
Marbella: is one of the ritziest resorts on the Costa del Sol. The playground of the rich and famous., being only a 15 minute drive from the apartment . The town’s attractions include a thriving commercial centre, the coastal promenade, beach and yacht harbour and the Casco Antiguo (old town).A must is the ‘plaza de Los Naranjos’ (orange square) in the old town. Cross over the main road from the beachside to find the picturesque maize of streets, pretty squares and whitewashed buildings. A delightful area to browse the shops. This is a popular place to enjoy a drink or eat al fresco, in a vibrant atmosphere.
Gibraltar: For a day trip out, this is the perfect place. Once across the Spanish/ UK boarder you will find a host of guides that can take you on tours of the ‘Rock’, which normally includes a drive up to the top of the mountain to encounter the Barbary apes. There is also St. Michael’s cave where you can see beautiful rock formations.
